hi, Kerri, having trouble getting this keyboard typing to work here... everytime i hit the space bar while trying to write, it does it's own mind... anyways, so no space barring in this message to you... hope this finds you well... i was so impressed with your voice and song - truly, and it went straight to my heart and since listening, and getting on with life in general, i was inspired about an hour ago to write a song about staying/suicide/life/love/strife/etc. anyways, i have the lyrics and i got some good advice the other day where another singer/songwriter wrote that when one is stuck for a melody, and can't sing properly, then ask someone else with the talent, so, here i am at your window, with words, and a stupid melody that i'll post for you just now, if you want to hear what i tried to do, and then, if you will, i'd really appreciate it, you could put a lovely melancholy melody to it and if you could, feel it and sing it, with your beautiful piano? It's not fair that my Mom is emigrating and I won't see her just down the road anymore, and it's so sad for me, and your voice is so beautiful and released the pain that I can't show... I cry now, but smile... Thank you for your kind words about my song and your song is beautiful... Such a gorgeous voice... But, must stay strong and look on the bright side of life... Thank you so much Freedom and Raine for your most wonderful comments on my music. Sorry to hear your Mum is emigrating Raine, but on the plus side, thanks to today's technology you will be able to see her as often as you like via webcam (not quite the same I know) but at least you won't lose touch completely. Singing is only something I've really starting doing relatively recently, compared to my orchestral pieces, so getting comments like this is really heartwarming and confidence boosting :))

Oh Raine, that is such a beautiful song ( from the heart) and you have such a sweet voice. I too have a deep love foir animals, and nature in general, so I could really equate with this delightful song. Lovely to make your aqauntance on MF
Hello all! I've been absent for almost a week but am back now and catching up on a bit :) Hope you were all able to sort things out. If you had a question for me and don't hear from me in the next 2 days, please poke me again! My son got a concussion last MOnday and fell again on Thursday and hit his head again. They kept him overnight at hospital and did a battery of tests on him, but not found anything (nothing primary pathological). That means it's going to be harder to pinpoint. Am working from home and keeping a strong motherly eye on him. (One medical assistant said he should be locked in a dark padded room for a week - I think he should wear a padded helmet)
