Few tips for you: To find tracks/musicians, use the 'Search It All' button at the top of the page, then you can filter by genre.

To follow other people's activity, you click 'Idolize' on their profile page. Then you can see their and your own activity on "My Fusion Board".You can use the "Search It All" button at the top to search for people, music you like by genre, gigs, reviews, master classes, etc.
Once you have Idolized someone, you will automatically receive email notifications when they post gigs, photos, posts, comments and tracks. Rather than one email per posting, you can opt to receive a Nightly Digest - you can find this under Edit Profile, then Subscriptions. In addition, for each person, you can select 'SUBSCRIPTIONS' under the 'UNIDOLIZE' button. There you can turn on or off to receive email notifications from them for posts, gigs, photos and tracks. So, for example, if you just want to know when someone posts a track, you can leave that notification selected, but unselect everything else.
