Love the vocals! Also, the beautiful quiet bit makes for a great contrast with the driving rhythm of the rest of the piece. It's refreshing to hear a rhythm that's NOT the typical full drum set sound.

Nice guitar work! And that's an understatement. Good vocals, too. This is going to be stuck in my head a while. I'm good with that.

Suspenseful. At the beginning, there's no way to guess what this will turn into. Great "unfolding" of your ideas here!
I haven't been doing a lot of audio recording lately, but I have been busy creating and playing. Here's my evidence :)

Beautiful piece, Kerri! Engaging, yet peaceful. The picture fits the mood of the music well.

Another cool collaboration! Great job, guys. Love the playing all the way through. Who played bass?

Thanks, Rob! Trully: It was me who played bass, but not the whole track. Just 2 small parts and then I use a sampler to be more sharp in a groove.

Wow ! Beautiful creation here ! Almost baroque at times....so very pretty and compelling !!

Thanks, Stevie. I don't think I've ever had my music called, "compelling." I like it! I love baroque music, so that influence might just slip in there. Funny, I'm working on a "B" section for this, and it includes a trick I picked up from Vivaldi: Say you have the chord progression, C-F-D-G. The bass can climb up chromatically if you start on the third of the first chord: E-F-F#-G. A while back I bought an M-Audio Venom synth on ebay. They're cheap because nobody wants to spend time re-programming the horrible presets(probably why they flopped). But, starting with the sound waves, I managed to build the sound for the main melody here and for the "recorders" out of the thing. I've also written a fake orchestral arrangement for this. I'll be posting it in a few seconds probably.

Thanks, CJO. I don't know how to classify it, either. I guess it's a good thing I'm not doing any serious marketing.
